DUG's

I've got a 1971 Valmont that's been sitting in my dad's yard for over 15 years.  I had rebuilt it and then went off to college and got moved out of state came back 10 years later, and never drove it again.  I'm sure the engine is seized just from sitting.  The motor had been rebuilt with a 750 crank, cause my dad put the wrong gas mixture in it.  I think the hood is in fair condition.  The wind shield is broke all to pieces cause a tree fell on it.  The plastic cover between the seat and the dashboard I'm sure isn't any good either.  The frame should be in good condition.  Back around 1978 I had stripped it all down, sand blasted it and repainted it.  The transmission was in good shape and I even have an extra case, that I picked up at a going out of business sale.  The ski and spring are there. The bumper is un-dented.  The fiber glass "bow" between the engine and the ski is good. Gas tank should still be in place.  I think I had to do some patching on it. 

I've had thoughts of replacing the boogie wheel suspensions with sliders, but that's as far as it ever got.  I hate to see the thing sitting there begging to be restored.  On the other hand scrap is going for a good price here in Michigan too.
